Antonio Metelli (1806 – 1874) is a central figure for Romagna, author of the “History of Brisighella and the Amone Valley”, considered a fundamental point of reference for local historiography, which combines rigorous documentary research with careful descriptions of the territory, traditions and events of the Risorgimento.
